Tadahiro Katana
Tadahiro, born as Hashimoto Heisakuro of Hizen Province, a smith of jo jo saku (exeptionally superior) class, whose blades are ranked as o´wazamono (exeptionally sharp).
He was the son of the famous Hashimoto Shinsaemon no jo Tadayoshi, one of the smiths of sai jo saku (top) class of the Shinto period, who later uses the name Tadahiro.
In 1632 Heisakuro took over this name when he succeeded his deceased father at the age of 19 years.
Although he actually was the 2nd generation Tadayoshi, he has never used this name.
In 1641 he received the title of Omi Daijo.
In 1693 he passed away at the age of 80 years. He therefore has survived his son, the famous Mutsu no kami Tadayoshi.
